Welcome to a journey where pen meets paper and a world all your own opens up. I'm Lissa, a writer, mentor, and advocate for mindfulness practices that enhance creativity and calm. Nestled in the lush maples of Quebec's Gatineau Hills, my life intertwines with the written word, advocacy work related to the local river, and the at-times calming presence of my cat, Toiyabe, a scrappy Nevadan.

With years of crafting stories and guiding students through the transformative process of writing, I've honed a unique approach to teaching.
